Ayr figure skating club has a very successful Synchronized Skating squad. Over the last couple of years we have managed to enter two teams in most of the competitions.
The coaches select members for each team from the synchro squad depending on various criteria such as age, ability, field moves level attained, team commitment, and regulation requirements.
Some of the successes we have achieved are:
- British Synchro Championship 2010: Gael Force came second in the Elementary event
- Scottish Synchro Championship 2009: Gael Force came first in the Elementary event. Ayr O Dynamic came second in the intermediate event.
- British Synchro Championship 2008: Ayr-O-Dynamic came 6th out 15
- British Synchro Championship 2007: Ayr-O-Dynamic came first in the Elementary event

A fee is charged for membership of the synchro squad. This fee does not cover all cost that synchro incurs and further funding from such things as fundraising club donations etc are usually necessary. Synchro is open to non AFSC members however the fee for non members is greater due to the club funding the ice time for synchro practice.
