LEARN TO SKATE CLASSES

For SkateUk times please see the sessions page for more details.

Skate UK (sometimes called SK8UK ) is the path most people will use when first learning to skate.

Skate UK is NISA's flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of all ages that teaches fundamental movements and basic skills.  The program is set up in ten stages.  The Skate UK program emphasizes fun and continuous movement and is taught in a group lesson format; Skate UK is taught by qualified NISA coaches and can be assisted by trained Program Assistants

STEPPING STONES
If you would like to skate more than just on a Saturday morning but are perhaps not sure if you are ready to join the main club then maybe "Stepping Stones" is for you! Stepping Stones is a 2 day membership, open to SkateUK level 5,  which runs for 3 months at a cost of £60. This covers your ice costs and you can choose to come in on 2 days, from Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. You can then arrange private lessons on a 1-1 basis with a club coach, join group classes and/or "office "classes (at an extra cost). If you think you might be interested, the treasurer/club secretary can give you advice as to what might be suitable for the stage you are at, with exact costs.

Please note availability of 1-1 coaching sessions is limited!
ANY PROBLEMS OR INFORMATION YOU NEED -JUST ASK AT THE CLUB DESK ! !

All Skate UK members are very welcome to come through and watch the main club sessions (not only on Saturdays). I would also like to invite Skate UK parents to help in the Tuck shop. It is a great way to get to know people and how things work in the club.
